The football team lost their fourth league game this past Saturday to Grand Junction Central by a final score of 52-12. The loss moved the Lancers league record to 1-3, and second to the last in the division, where they only have a better record than Sand Creek. Liberty will host Cheyenne Mountain this Friday at 7, in a battle of two teams with 1-3 league records. Cheyenne Mountain is coming off a 45-0 loss to league leading Ponderosa, with their lone league win against Sand Creek. The game should consist of smash mouth football, as both teams are run first teams, so it will be safe to say the game will be won at the line of scrimmage.



The Lady Lancers ended up going 3-1  this past weekend in the Dakota Ridge tournament. The tournament wrapped up the lancers season, they finished with an overall record of 12-11 and a league record 3-3. The lancers are on the bubble of state playoffs and await the decision whether or not they got in. If the Liberty gets into the playoffs, this would be the seventh straight year that the lancers have reached the playoffs. Teams will know
